TCGPal collects the information needed to provide card scanning, AI grading, collection tracking, inventory, social, notification, and account features. This may include your email address, account identifier, profile handle, optional profile details, card images you upload or capture, card metadata, grading results, collection and wishlist entries, inventory entries, posts, comments, follows, notification preferences, device push tokens, usage events, and subscription status.
We use this information to authenticate your account, process card scans and grading requests, save your collection and inventory, show pricing and portfolio analytics, sync your data across devices, send requested notifications, support community features, manage usage limits, provide subscriptions, improve app reliability, and protect the service from abuse.
We use service providers to operate TCGPal, including hosting, authentication, database and storage, AI processing, card pricing data, analytics, payments, and push notification infrastructure. These providers process information for the purposes described in this policy.
Some information may be visible to other users when you use public features, such as public profile handles, shared grade results, posts, comments, follows, badges, and collection details that you choose to display. You can control certain visibility settings in the app.
Subscription payments are handled by payment providers. TCGPal stores subscription status and payment-provider customer identifiers, but does not store full payment card numbers.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.
You can update profile and privacy settings in the app. You may request account or data deletion by contacting us at hi@tcgpal.app.
