Delete Your Account In The App

You can delete your TCGpal account yourself at any time. In the app, open Profile, then Settings, then Privacy, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

On the web, sign in and open your profile settings. The Delete account option is at the bottom of the page and uses the same confirmation.

Subscriptions

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Subscriptions billed by card on the web are cancelled automatically when the account is deleted.

What Is Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your login, profile (handle, avatar, bio, social links), collection, wishlist, binders, inventory and vendor records, scan history, saved grades and their card photos, posts, comments, reactions, follows and blocks, price alerts, notification settings, push tokens, and referral data.

What Is Retained

• Other photos you uploaded while scanning are unlinked from your account when it is deleted. To have those files purged as well, email hi@tcgpal.app.
• Support tickets you opened are kept for our records, but the link to your account is removed. The contact email on the ticket stays so we can finish any open conversation.
• A deletion audit record containing your user id, the date, and a one-way hash of your email address. The email itself is not stored.
• Payment records held by our payment processors as required by tax and accounting law.
• Some information may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period where necessary to operate, secure, or comply with legal obligations for the service. Backups are not used to reinstate deleted accounts.

Email Fallback

If you cannot sign in, email hi@tcgpal.app from the email address used for your TCGpal account with the subject line "Delete my TCGpal account". Include your profile handle if you have one. We may ask you to verify account ownership, and we aim to process email requests within 30 days after verification.

Partial Data Deletion

You can delete individual scans, grades, posts, and collection entries from inside the app without deleting your account. To request removal of other specific data, contact us through the support page and describe what you want removed.
