Know what your cards are worth — and what they’d grade.

Point your camera at a trading card. TCGPal names the set, number, and variant, scores centering, corners, edges, and surface, then shows PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC estimates beside a buy score blended from TCGplayer, eBay solds, and live asks. Eighteen games, three free grades a day.

FAQ

Questions collectors ask

How accurate is the AI grade?

TCGPal evaluates the same four criteria professional graders use — centering, corners, edges, and surface — and shows you the sub-score for each, plus PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC estimates. Treat it as a fast, honest read on condition and a guide for what's worth submitting, not a replacement for a professional certification.

What can the AI see — and what can it miss?

From a photo, the model can measure centering, flag corner and edge wear, and spot many surface issues like scratches, print lines, and whitening. It cannot feel creases, warping, or smell, and glare can hide defects. Always inspect the card in hand before you pay to submit.

Is this a replacement for PSA, BGS, SGC, or CGC?

No. TCGPal is a pre-grade: it helps you decide whether a card is worth the slab fee. A professional company still handles authentication, encapsulation, and the grade that the market actually pays for.

How should I photograph a card?

Use bright indirect light, fill the frame, and keep all four corners visible. Tilt holos until glare is off the edges. Capture front and back on a matte background. Soft, flashy, or cropped photos will under-grade or miss wear.

Which card games are supported?

Pokémon (English and Japanese), One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound, Dragon Ball, and more — 18 TCGs in total, with new sets added as they release.

Is it really free?

Yes. The free plan includes 3 AI grades every day, instant card scanning, a collection, and live market prices. No credit card required. Collector removes the limits and adds sold market values, price predictions, the buy score, full price history, cross-grade estimates, and PDF reports.

Do I need the app, or does the web version work?

Everything works in your browser — grading, collection, prices, trades. The iOS and Android apps add instant on-device scanning that identifies a card the moment you point your camera at it.

Where do the prices come from?

TCGPal aggregates current TCGplayer market and low, real eBay sold averages over 1, 7, and 30 days, and live eBay asks — then blends them into one fair-value number with a buy score. History charts sit next to that so you can tell a one-day spike from a real move. Graded comps (PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC) are included for the same printing.

What happens to my card photos?

Your photos are used to identify and grade your cards. You control what gets shared to the community feed — grading privately is the default. See our privacy policy for the full details.
