Summary

This is a beautiful example of the Blastoise ex SIR from 151, possessing excellent front appeal. The main limiting factor preventing a higher grade is the noticeably off-center back (heavy on the right), along with some microscopic wear on the back corners and right edge. It presents as a strong Mint 9 overall.

PSA is slightly more lenient on back centering than BGS or CGC, giving this card the best chance at a solid 9. While the grade 9 value premium over raw isn't massive, it is a highly popular chase card from the SV-151 set and grading will protect and solidify its Mint condition value.
