The main limiting factor is the back of the card, which shows distinct whitening on the top left corner, along with minor wear on the other corners and top edge. Due to the corner and edge wear on the reverse, the grade is held back from the mint tier.
Grading costs may exceed value gained
With the visible whitening on the back corners (especially the top left) and edges, this card is likely to receive an 8 from PSA or an 8.5 from BGS/CGC. As a relatively low-value EX card from the XY era, grading it at an 8 or 8.5 would likely not increase its value enough to cover the grading fees and shipping costs. It is best kept as a nice binder copy.
